This certification is proof that the Company has dedicated its management system to environmental awareness. In an era of environmental consciousness, this certification is crucial for a business or corporate entity to remain competitive in not only a national market, but the international market. The Company is better able to manage finances by conservation of materials and energy. In our continuing effort to protect the environment and natural resources, the company currently recycles light bulbs, batteries, paper, scrap metal, ink cartridges, as well as other items.

ISO 9001 Quality Management System
Delta Centrifugal Corporation has been ISO 9001 Registered since July 14, 1999.
The effective Quality Management System is documented, understood, maintained and continually improved. Because “Quality” is the responsibility of every employee, the approach to problem solving is team based, cross functional and the emphasis is on problem prevention. Delta Centrifugal Corporation Quality Management System is dedicated to meet customer, applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The Quality Management System enhances Customer Satisfaction through efficient planning, processing and applications of continual improvement.
ISO/TS 29001 Quality Management System specific for Petroleum, Petrochemical and Natural Gas
Delta Centrifugal Corporation has been ISO/TS 29001 Registered since June 19, 2012.
The International Organization for Standards/Technical Specifications ISO/TS 29001 was published in 2003 by the International Organization for Standards and the American Petroleum Institute for the design, development, production, installation and service of products for the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries. The ISO/TS 29001 standard is based on ISO 9001 and incorporates supplementary requirements emphasizing defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste from service providers. These requirements have been developed separately to ensure that they are clear and auditable.
PED 97/23/EC Pressure Equipment Directive
Delta Centrifugal Corporation has been PED 97/23/EC 7/2 Annex 1, Paragraph 4.3 Compliant since September 3, 2010.
The Pressure Equipment Directive PED 97/23/EC was published in 1997 by the European Commission under the "New Approach to Technical Harmonization and Standards". Its purpose is to harmonize laws regarding the design, manufacture, testing and conformity assessment of pressure equipment and assemblies of pressure equipment. Pressure equipment is widely used in the process industries (oil & gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, plastics and rubber and the food and beverage industry), high temperature process industry (glass, paper and board), energy production and in the supply of utilities, heating, air conditioning and gas storage and transportation.

Through our OHSAS 18001 certification, Delta Centrifugal is committed to supporting a safe and healthy workplace. This serves as a driver and reminder that it is everyone's job to support and protect a safe and healthy workplace by preventing injury, preventing ill health and reducing hazards.
Not only do we want to protect our employees in the workplace, we want to improve our health and safety performance. This is accomplished by conducting operations more efficiently and with better safety controls.
Delta Centrifugal Corporation conducts foundry, machine shop, maintenance, and administrative activities in a healthy, safe, and environmentally responsible manner. Delta Centrifugal acts as a good corporate neighbor and citizen trough compliance with health, safety, and environmental laws and manages its business so as to minimize its impact on the environment. To further this Business Management System, the Company:
- Includes health, safety, and environmental requirements in planning and processing activities.
- Complies with applicable health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.
- Reduces or eliminates the release of contaminants into the environment through:
- Pollution prevention (material substitution and source reduction);
- Recycling; and
- Treatment and control technologies.
- Communicates with Company employees, suppliers, regulators, and customers about the health, safety, and environmental impact of Delta Centrifugals operations.
- Periodically reviews, measures and documents improvements in the Company’s Business Management System.
Safety Health Awareness Recognition Program. (SHARP)
The Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP), created by the U.S. Department of the Labor, recognizes small, private sector, Texas employers for exemplary safety management programs and low incidences rates of work-related injuries and illnesses after participation in the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation (TDI-DWC) Occupational Safety and Health Consultation (OSHCON) program. OSHCON recognizes the commitment of the employers it works with that take extraordinary measures to exceed the requirements of the OSHA standards. The safety and health program management system that you institute, paired with a SHARP certification, has many long-term benefits. In June of 2012 Delta Centrifugal received the SHARP certification and became one of only sixty companies at the time to receive this achievement.
