- Nickel-Chromium Alloys – Often marketed under the trade name Inconel, these alloys resist oxidation and corrosion at high temperatures. Commonly used in jet engines, gas turbines, and chemical processing equipment, examples include ASTM A494 CW6MC (Inconel 625) and CY40 (Inconel 600).
- Nickel-Copper Alloys – Also known by the trade name Monel, these materials excel in resistance to acids and marine environments.
